Marilyn Lew-Jacobs, CPAMarilyn Lew-Jacobs, CPA

Marilyn has extensive experience in providing clients with tax consulting, tax compliance, financial reviews and auditing services.

A Business Administration graduate from Barry University, Miami Shores, Marilyn began her career as an entry-level accountant with the Miami office of Touche Ross, where she gained national, regional and local firm experience in senior positions. She left Deloitte & Touche as a Senior Tax Manager in 1997 and progressed to become a partner in the Jacobs & Company predecessor in 2000.

Marilyn is active in many professional and charitable organizations, including:

  • Paul Keihner, CPAPaul Keihner, CPA

    Paul has been with Jacobs & Company since 2010 and is experienced in tax and auditing services. His prior experience includes extensive accounting work for managed medical practices, including primary care, gastroenterology and orthopedic facilities, in Palm Beach County.

    Having earned a Master's of Science degree in Economics from Clemson University, Paul taught various economics at Florida Atlantic University, including courses in the principles of economics, money and banking, and international economics. He holds undergraduate degrees from the University of Florida and Florida Atlantic University in economics and accounting, respectively.

    Paul grew up in Miami and has been a resident of Palm Beach County since 2005. When not in the office, he can be found working on his tennis and golf games.

    Senior Accountant

    Kevin A. Medina, CPA, MBA, REALTOR® is a hard-working and ambitious individual. At the age of 24 Kevin completed both his bachelor's degree in Accounting and his MBA from his hometown university, Florida Atlantic University (FAU) located in Boca Raton, Florida. Throughout his college career, he had worked as a Teaching Assistant and as our part time Tax Accountant and Financial Auditor. Now at the age of 30, Kevin is a licensed CPA, MBA, and Florida Realtor that works full-time as our Senior Tax Accountant and Financial Auditor.

    At the young age of six, Kevin moved from Long Island, New York to South Florida. He now lives in Boca Raton and has grown accustomed to the warm weather. When he's not at at the office helping clients, Kevin enjoys traveling, boating, snow skiing, tennis, mixed martial arts, real estate, horseback riding, and spending time with his pet - a five year old mini Australian Shepherd named Grace.

  • Brenda M. Seligman, CPA
    Senior Tax Consultant

    Brenda is a certified public accountant licensed in Florida and New Jersey. After earning a Masters of Science degree in Education from Hunter College and an MBA in Accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University, Brenda became a partner in an accounting firm in New Jersey. Moving to Florida, she opened her own successful accounting firm, eventually selling the practice after 16 years.

    A graduate of Leadership Palm Beach County, Brenda has been active in many civic and professional organizations, including:

  • National Association of Women Business Owners (local chapter, past president)
  • Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (local chapter, past president)
  • American Institute of Certified Public Accountants
  • Palm Beach County Estate Planning Council (past president)
  • Northern Palm Beaches Rotary Club (board member and treasurer)
  • West Orange New Jersey Rotary Club (first woman inducted)

    Before becoming an accountant, Brenda taught elementary school, math in high school, and accounting at Caldwell and Kean Colleges in New Jersey. Today in her spare time, Brenda loves to knit, participate in book clubs and work on her golf game.

  • Ashley Pepin, CPA
    Staff Accountant

    Ashley is a licensed Florida CPA who received her Bachelors degree in Accounting from Florida Atlantic University in 2009. With over 12 years of experience as a bookkeeper and staff accountant, she is very familiar with accounting procedures and business practices. Ashley’s most recent role as Law Office Administrator allows her to apply her accounting knowledge and experience on a daily basis.

    In addition to her passion for accounting, Ashley enjoys cooking. After receiving an Associate degree in Hospitality Management from Johnson & Wales University in North Miami, she worked for numerous catering companies in the Miami area and continues to cook and entertain for fun.

    Ashley is a member of the Florida Institute of Public Accountants.

    Dawn Pulver
    Office Manager

    Dawn joined our team here at Jacobs & Company, LLP in 2016. She studied finance and accounting at Palm Beach State College. Dawn brings over 10 years of experience in bookkeeping and office management while working closely with accountants.

    In Dawn's spare time she enjoys many different outdoor activities such as camping, fishing, hiking and paddle boarding. In addition, Dawn is a real animal lover with pets of her own helping rescue animals wild and domestic alike in her community.


    Leila is our newest Intern. She enjoys greeting guests at the door and she especially loves lunch time. She is very popular around the office during busy season.
